I made outfits for a friend and I to wear to Dita Von Teese this week. For some reason, I always want to dress her like a cake. I was sewing until an hour before we had to leave. Here is Miss Melissa in the finished piece: heart shaped 1/4 cup corset, camisole and layered tulle skirt. I lent her the sweater I recently finished knitting so she wouldn’t catch a chill. Corset construction: 2 days Camisole and Skirt: 2 days. Bummed I didn’t get the flossing on the corset done before the show.
